Established in 2018, our journey began on 21st of April, coinciding with Gary's birthday, the proud owner whose roots in the hospitality industry date back to 1991. Gary's experience spans from Vaughan’s Wine Bar to the Pavilion Terrace Bar Restaurant, followed by a tenure managing pubs and restaurants for large companies.

After a decade-long hiatus from the bay, the opportunity to open the Lighthouse Cafe Bar presented itself as a refreshing departure from the pressures of larger enterprises. Inspired by continental vibes, our establishment embodies a laid-back, stress-free ambience, where freshly prepared food and drinks await alongside a warm welcome for all, including our pets, because we consider them family too.

Why the name "Lighthouse"? Because, like its namesake, it symbolizes safety and hospitality, offering a comfortable haven for all who seek the best in life. At The Lighthouse, we embrace theatre but avoid drama, ensuring every visit is enjoyment and tranquility.
